When I called to place my order for take-out, I asked for some shahi paneer but was advised they were out. This is fine but when my husband arrived at the restaurant to pick up our order, he asked again for the shahi paneer, just to confirm if they were out and he was told they were out. However, when my husband examined the service counter (the food is displayed cafeteria-style), they had some shahi paneer. When my husband asked for some, they relunctantly gave some to him. We're a little confused as to why they didn't want to sell us any. This place has an amazing dessert selection. We're french canadian from Montreal, and we admit that we're totally ignorant when it comes to Bengali desserts but we were eager to try them. When my husband asked for some assistance in selecting desserts, he was rudely told "No, just pick". All in all, service was terrible but we have to say that the food was really good.
